Which plan does your farm need?

Stockman is for a farm that wants its livestock records straight: births, movements and deaths registered, the medicine book and Red Tractor records kept, and the deadline alerts that stop a 27-day or 3-day window slipping past. Read how those windows work in the cattle passport guide and the movement reporting guide.

Farm Office is for a farm that also wants the money handled in the same place: a receipt photo becomes a VAT-coded expense, invoices and bill reminders are sent from the app, and VAT goes to HMRC. If you are working out whether you fall under digital tax filing, the guide to Making Tax Digital thresholds for farmers explains the income lines.

Headquarters is for a farm with staff, contractors or an accountant who needs access: timesheets and wages, team logins, and a handoff to the accountant. Enterprise is priced on request for estates, several holdings or entities, and share-farming setups.

What do founding farms get?

FarmHQ is in pre-launch beta. A first group of founding farms, starting with a pilot in South-West England in the second half of 2026, goes free for the first three months, in exchange for telling us bluntly what is wrong with the product. There is an iPhone beta through TestFlight and a direct Android download. To join, email hello@farmhq.ai with your county, your stock and what the paperwork currently costs you.

What does FarmHQ replace?

The FarmHQ whitepaper puts what UK livestock farms typically spend on bookkeepers, farm secretaries and accountants at between £240 and £5,000 a month. Farm Office and Headquarters are priced against that bill. For the fuller comparison with other options, see FarmHQ vs Herdwatch vs spreadsheets and an accountant, and the farm bookkeeping software checklist for what to ask any supplier.
